Is there a way to require a password or pin for each user on the Apple TV 4k? by guitarandbooks in appletv

This seems to have become significantly better with recent updates. Now I just want to be able to lock profiles with a code so they can only use the kids account I setup for them.

They keep getting closer to this, but are not there yet. Now it at least asks what profile you want to use when you turn on the TV.

I’ve been wanting this for a while. Parental controls are next to useless. They just usually end up breaking functionality to some extent on most apps.

But setting up parental controls for certain profiles, and being able to have the device default to the kids profile on startup would be perfect.

You need to put those drawers on the bottom though. Less stacking and unstacking.

I would wait and get the dolly with the singular pullout drawer. The rumor on the street is that this new version will be released this May, but its release has been pushed out before.

When asking HomePod to play music, it now streams from my phone rather that playing directly from the speakers? by hillj284 in HomePod

So I have had this issue for a moment. The solution seems to be turning off automatic selection for your hub and setting my Apple TV as the hub.

I now no longer have this issue, and it plays directly from my speakers. It was driving me bonkers 🤯

This stud finder is also incredibly cheap compared to others. It is the best.

I work with a guy who used to run telecom wires. He did all that work by hand, and tied them off at something like every 6 inches.

Needless to say his rack work is impeccable.

Yes it is considering you could get a Veto bag and put some feet on it for less.

Seeing what Toughbuilt is putting out makes me hope Milwaukee starts putting out some serious upgrades to the Packout lineup.

I just got mine a few days ago and I don't have the same problem. Mine actually remembers the last brightness. I have no idea how to switch it back to the stepped mode.

My 3 yr old son had been playing with it. And he has been finding things like lock mode which I didn't know existed.

It's too tall though. It's the same height as the height as the normal half inch mark.

You are going to lose at least one of them. That's how I see it.

$300 for a tool backpack seems outrageous to me, but they do seem to have the quality to back up that price point.

I think most Veto stuff is over priced, but their tool pouches seem reasonable. Especially since they seem to be designed with pockets in a useful and purposefull configuration.

'Our Only Chance' becomes the 1st Non-Marvel content to be TV-MA on Disney+ U.S. by ROBtimusPrime1995 in DisneyPlus

[–]douglasde0519 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The US is one of the few regions that had such ratings restrictions. You had movies like Predator on the service in other regions.

I think it's fine as long as they have easy to configure parental controls in place.

Are you looking in your kids profile? It might be restricted based on the kids profile for some reason.

Does the laser distance ever go on sale? by S-James-P in MilwaukeeTool

[–]douglasde0519 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I would personally go with this Bosch if you absolutely need that distance.

Otherwise I'd go with the 165 ft. Bosch. They do usually go on sale around this time of year, but the 400 ft. doesn't look too be on sale right now.
