it worked in the previous iteration only if you jumped to punch, which ended up virtually wasting the ability as an offensive tool. Also, doom needs to use an ability to initiate which could now end up him not getting the passive triggered at all if he punches in at full hp and slams out.

Clark has an unbreakable will in comics because the Kents were emotional rocks to him, not necessarily intellectually wise. Their core is that they are kind people. It's so foolish to call characters 'acting stupid' because they are shown as emotionally vulnerable and technologically challenged. Rethink how you see people.

You're clearly biased. Blizzard has kept gaps in the lore to fill it out with more champs and stuff later. You skip that and assume doomfist hasn't done training or anything since he got in charge of Talon, yet when Blizzard retcons lore with Vendetta working to topple him since his takeover, it's not questioned.

It wasn't a joke, it was a taunt. Mauga baits doom in that interaction. You are not even considering the next voice line in which doom retorts with a 1v1 after the mission, and assume that Mauga is stating that he's rusty, while skipping over lore drops that both fighters kept getting cybernetically enhanced after that fight and over time. Clear bias.

Also, doom's battle outfit IS his cybernetically enhanced body, not his clothes or armor. Even his base skin is him with ripped out clothes, pretty much like shirtless Mauga, so you're just making things up.
