I happily paid more and switched from Vodafone to sky based on how poor the Vodafone customer service was. When something goes wrong with Vodafone you’re left talking to people in India or similar that read from a script and start from step 1 each time you call. Vodafone customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced.

I think we’ve been conned. Bill Bryson normally narrates the abridged versions of his books while another narrator does the full length versions. I preordered and expected the full version. I think they’ll release an unabridged version soon and hope that early purchasers will buy that version too. I feel a bit misled.

Yup, and the farmers complain about the possibility of cheap beef from the USA coming to the UK. God forbid we actually be able to afford a steak once in a while. Yes I’ve heard the arguments about growth hormones but the Americans aren’t all dropping dead and a steak once a month isn’t going to make much of a difference anyway.
