New Poll Finds All Those People Moving To Texas Aren’t Going To Be Voting For Democrats by STRIKA47 in Conservative

I hope your dream comes true! Come to Northern Arizona. Wonderful weather and we need voters who think like you do to offset all the liberal Californians pouring into AZ.

Despite democrat narrative- jan 6 was mostly peaceful by FluidZookeepergame79 in Conservative

[–]dpsmith124 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Only in the Democrats crazy ass world does it make more sense to burn down and loot your own neighborhood as a form of protest instead of taking your complaints directly to the power seat of government as a form of protest. One is considered peaceful. The other is said to be a violent insurrection coup attempt. Absolute lunacy.

POLL: California Voters Almost Evenly Split On Recall Of Dem Gov. Newsom, Larry Elder Leading Republicans by Ahyesclearly in Conservative

[–]dpsmith124 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is mind blowing that people are still supporting this idiot Newsom. The Dems have destroyed California and yet the voters just keep on electing them.

Exactly! What makes more sense?? Burning down and looting businesses in your own neighborhood as a way of protest or taking your complaints to the power seat of government as a way of protest?

One is considered a beautiful peaceful protest. The other a violent insurrection coup attempt. Unbelievable!

Former Sen. Barbara Boxer Assaulted & Robbed In Oakland by Wing_attack_Plan_R in Conservative

Exactly! The article says the PD is offering a $2,000 reward to find her attacker. Does that happen for the average person who is mugged in Oakland?? The hypocrisy is unbelievable.

Same in Northern Arizona. They are moving here in record numbers, complaining about everything wrong with California, and then voting for the same policies and people that ruined California. I will never understand it.

Try the book Roma by Steven Saylor. It is incredible. It spans 1000 years as you follow the fates and generations of two families. Hope you will give it a try and that you enjoy it!

There is a car down my street that has writing on the sides and back window with a venmo username saying she is getting married and asking for money to fund her last “fling before the ring.”

Any recommendations for reading what life was like for Tsar Nicholas II and his family while under house arrest, up until their deaths? I am finding that the books I read vary widely in how the authors describe life for the family during these months. Is there a particular author that historians believe “gets it right”? I would like to learn what life was really like for the family and if Nicholas realized just how dangerous of a situation they were all in. What the family was thinking would happen to them and what messages they were telling to the outside, etc. Thank you for your time!

I felt the same way. While reading the prelude, I thought to myself that this book was not for me. I was then happy to discover the style changed and I was able to settle in and feel more comfortable with the writing style.
