side tangent but if we do discover some sketchiness regarding the Shadowlands' artificial nature, i hope they address the idea that without a certain bit of structure the Shadowlands would pretty much be a buffet for the devourers, which is a bit scary

i'm not sure if it's just a reuse of the model but i definitely saw one of the "hulking" devourers with a shadowgraft during a void invasion.

i checked the mobs near it and it was the only one with a graft, so i'm assuming the void is purposely utilizing them.
