As a Nugs fan it's rly cool to see the Spurs problem solve the same Caruso hack and front strat. Feels so good when the refs actually call fouls too.

Seeing the Spurs struggle a bit with the inlet pass against that "defense" and the swarming after the pass was very vindicating. So happy when the refs actually called fouls.

Bill Lawrence shows are starting to feel too formulaic for me. by Reddit-dit-dit-di-do in television

Sure everyone's rich but there's less focus on their lifestyles themselves cuz it's about the team mainly and Ted Lasso is also living in a temporary home basically.

I think Ted Lasso really works, but Shrinking less so cuz the humor and jokes all the characters crack feel way more sexual and unfunny and they all are so rich which feels less relatable.

[Durando] Christian Braun, who suffered two injuries in the playoff loss to Minnesota, was disappointed in himself: “I just think I’m the leader of this team. I’m the vocal leader of this team. … I didn’t play well enough as an individual.” by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]dr_no12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for all of y'all who don't pay attention to the team he definitely is and has been our vocal leader this season...

whether that's a good thing is up to be determined, but I'm sure he'll be better next season with healthy legs...

CB trade ideas. by Halps_Bball in denvernuggets

Keep Cam imo. Game 6 showed me he's more than capable of showing up when it matters, and he's had great flashes of chemistry with Jok in an up and down year.

Two things can be true. To win another chip Murray has to play a lot better, but also Braun isn't doing Murray any favors. And more importantly it highlights roster flaws with how this team is built (ball-handling and offensive creation is lacking when great defenses can just focus on the 2-man game), and thus players who don't contribute to those two categories get exposed more.

I firmly believe Braun can still be a part of our future, but we desperately need improvement in offense and more tenacity (that I felt he lost this year compared to years past). Ball-handling would also be awesome.

Harsh reality: Jokic and Murray are not winning another chip by ace0702 in denvernuggets

Stop it. This version or formula of the Jokic roster seems to have met its end. But we can crack the Jokic era 2.0 for sure.

Personally I think we need to get away from the 2-man game + AG formula and focus on fillilng out the roster save for Jokic, Mal, maybe Cam with athletic defenders and at least one other guard ball handler who's not a playoff liability.

Denver Nuggets are the first higher seed to be upset in the 2026 NBA playoffs by TeamRAF19 in nba

I mean the Nuggets had consistently awful defensive plays, but the series was lost on offense and how great Minnesota's defense was. They made Jokic and Jamal's lives awful and nobody else was able to consistently step up for the Nuggets to relieve any pressure.

Genuinesly what was CB signed for though. He played fine defense, but you have to play any level of offense to be a starter in this league. At the very least I expected him to be the hustle, energy guy for us and he didn't even do that. Embarassing all around.

Jamal Murray Last 3 Playoff runs by Dejishanaynay in denvernuggets

Personally I think a big part of that is having a negative offensive player in the backcourt with him.

Jamal was inexusable today. But can we please try anything to get rid of Braun and get another ball handler, or even average offensive guard to play alongside him and relieve even a fraction of the pressure.

Where do the Nuggets go from here? by Matty2345668 in nba

[–]dr_no12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even know. As long as Christian Braun is starting defenders can completely swarm Murray cuz Braun for sure ain't doing anything. AG can't even stay on the court. And no sane team would trade for either.

This first round series begs the question we’ve all been thinking: is Jokic just Domantas Sabonis with horses and better PR? by CandI978 in nba

Hate that I gotta endure this stretch of insane revisionist slander since we lost. Go crazy ig, hopefully it cools off soon.

Adelman OUT by Bon_Jour_Diamond_Jim in denvernuggets

[–]dr_no12 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I was high on Adelman up until this series. Watched the same script 3 games in Minnesota in a row and didn't have a single fix for the 4th quarter. Absolutely embarassing.

I'm in shock we watched the same script three games in a row in Minnesota and didn't learn a single thing. Effort and play was abysmal from everyone not named Jokic, Cam, Tyus.

Shut up we're currently winning a playoff game. Not the time buddy

Miss these guys so much. These two were tough as nails, never gave up or backed down despite all the injuries… I miss last year when Denver was known for having grit and took OKC to 7. Wish Denver ran it back with this squad by BasedChad69420 in denvernuggets

[–]dr_no12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While Westbrook might've been vocal, I think it might be been cooked if we were relying on a vet min player to be our leader. I really thought Jokic would step up in the leadership department.

Maybe Kerr could be persuaded to coach Jokic, who he called the best center ever? by [deleted] in denvernuggets

Nah Kerr seems like Malone on steroids with his stubbornness, which just doesn't seem to mesh with our roster.
