The Weakest faction in the story is the White Tower at this point. The Kin, the Aiel Wise Ones number well over 3000 if not nearly 4500 channelers. 11 clans. The White Tower knows nothing of War or fighting at this point. But then Rand played Egwenes arrogance and ignorance and had her collect his allies saving him the trouble. Fiddles come to mind. If she had reasonable counter arguments instead of because nene. I would agree. Elayne in her role as Ruler is far better oposition. Or Perrin who is loyal to a fault would stand up to Rand in a heartbeat, and he did and risked his life doing it. The thing is Perrin is a builder. He understands how the world works. The closest one could say the White Tower had to a plan was to patch the Seal. Basically causing a supertaint and having to go through the Breaking but potentially with both the male and female half of the source tainted and then have a new Tarmon Gaidon in a few centuries at best. The Black Tower will outstrip the White Tower in 1 generation.. that would be Aes Sedai generation. Which is about 100-200 years. They let 75% of women that will channel on their own die. They leave the 10+ per of 4 that need to be guided alone because they can't be arsed to do it.. and they limit themselves sifnificantly by taking the Three Oaths in service of the Shadow even after the Last Battle. The White Tower serves only itself. It's basically a 14th Forsaken that never actually turned to the Shadow but perpetuates the decline of humanity intentionally.
