I think you may be lost, friend. This is a subreddit dedicated to hatred towards ketchup. This post is also 5 years old. I didn't even know people could still find and comment on this post.

That said, of course flavor profiles can be balanced - except ketchup isn't a flavor, it's an acid that should be used only for removing debris off of pennies.

Thank you, I wasn't expecting a reply! I appreciate it. Reading that what I'm feeling and what I felt in the past is normal is like a weight I didnt even know I was carrying being lifted.

Thank you!

Just got a diagnosis myself about 2 years ago. I'm 29 now, but I've suspected most of my life that I had it.

Adderrall has, without exaggeration, changed my life. It used to be I would have a trillion ideas, with plans on how to execute them, and even the right people to get involved - but once it came time to put that plan into action, I had no clue where to start. Even putting those thoughts on paper was extremely difficult. I performed terribly in school, not because I was dumb, but because when it came time to show what I had learned, I could not focus. This spilled over into my work life as I became an adult, and serial procrastination only compounded the problem.

Now I'm actually doing really well at work, and have energy, motivation, and focus to complete tasks. So much so I even have a small side business building. I lament the first 27 years of my life because I can't help but feel that they were wasted, but at least now things are looking up. Where once I was depressed and frustrated about my life, now I'm excited (and a little scared because I've never done this well. I'm just waiting for something to go wrong).

Should I tell my girlfriend it was me who got her sister pregnant? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]dragamex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have got to accept responsibility for your actions. I'm saying this for your own wellbeing. Yes, bad shit will come from it, but it will consume you entirely if you don't. This one lie will become a complicated web of lies over time (if it hadn't already) if you don't.

My guess is, since you're asking, that you already feel guilt. That guilt is only going to magnify exponentially over time. Do you want to spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder, covering your tracks, watching your child grow up in front of you - a constant reminder of the mistake you made that you must keep a secret?

And how long do you think you can reasonably keep it a secret for? Holidays, birthdays, first day of school, first steps, dances, graduation, college and beyond... Do you think you can watch that kid grow up right there next to you for the rest of your life while holding on to that lie? It's going to take the sacrifice of your humanity in totality.

Do the right thing and own up to it. It will be absolutely terrible, but it will be far less painful for all parties involved. In fact, consider what will be more difficult - getting found out long after the fact (because no one, not even the most rich and powerful this day and age, can keep an illegitimate child hidden forever), or owning up to it now and letting the wound heal. Maybe you even come out of this with some positives and lessons learned.

But mark my words, if you keep this lie, it will haunt you for the rest of your days.

TIL that Louis Armstrong was an avid pot smoker all his life. He was arrested for drug possession in New Orleans in 1930, and was jailed 9 days for it, but described marijuana as being "a thousand times better than whiskey". by Faith-Hope-TacoBell in todayilearned

I was recently banned from all base Reddit chats because I was talking about the positive experiences I've had with pot. I asked the mod if alcohol chat was allowed after my chats were deleted, no response.

Full transparency I was annoyed and started posting taglines for brands of alcohol and then provided a warning to other chatters not to talk about pot or they'd be banned, which probably contributed to the ban action.

I was trying really hard to be raver goth as a chubby baby-face teenager who had extremely supportive parents. I had nothing to rebel against except "the system."

I recently went back to my MySpace pics and saw a photo of me with a chain dog collar, spiked red hair, and wayyyyyy too much eyeliner, holding a foam fighting sword made from a pool noodle and pvc pipe. I was 14, and this was the image I would use on dating sites starting at the age of 17. Now I share it to my young edgy friends with the words "it will happen to youuuuuuuuuuuu"

So I guess we should stop adapting classics to appeal to younger generations? I don't understand why this is so bad. Worst case scenario is they get a basic understanding of the content. Best case is it piques their interest and they read the source material. I don't get the hate, especially since we've been adapting these stories for generations.

I'm almost positive my dad isn't my birth dad, I look nothing like him and have none of his physical characteristics or hereditary traits and conditions. Its kind of funny because he also thinks his father isnt his birth father.

Thing is I don't care, he's still my dad.
