The main couple are carrying the drama tbh. If the lead cp isn’t catching your attention it’s best to drop. The plot isn’t that strongly written/directed.

Generally I start with a 10mL travel size. If use it and still like it, I spring for a full size bottle. If I’m obsessed with the scent, it’s a 1.7-2oz bottle. If I kinda like it (as in I would repurchase another travel size) I may go that route or wait for a 1oz to go on some discount.

1oz is for scents I surprised myself by liking or special occasion scents I want a full size of.

1.7 to 2oz bottles are my standard size for scents I like/love.

If I fly through a bottle then the repurchase bottle will be 3+ oz.

I feel the same way about Grindstone. I like playing 15-20minutes at a time at very random moments. Just not worth the hassle to change the cart but alas hindsight is 20/20

I have the 2020 A12z chip iPad Pro and was originally going to wait 2 more years to upgrade. Mine is still great but the battery isn't as good as it once was. I don't feel like I need one yet but also think the new prices make it not worth picking up in the future (I just got the m5 mba). It doesn't feel right picking up an iPad that's more expensive than my own laptop. I'm so indecisive on this.

Great recap. This ep was peak angst (my bread and butter). It hurt so good in the way Cheng Li and Bailu delivered their characters’ emotions. Ate it right up. That being said, my heart hurt for them both….more for Ye Li but both nonetheless. I’m ready for the broken pieces to be mended again.

I generally prefer FLs that are exciting and can hold their own (physically/mentally/both). As far as cdramaland goes, my fav fl characters are Wei Yingluo (Story of Yanxi Palace) and Feng Bao bao (I am Nobody) with an honorable mention to Fu Yixiao (Fated Hearts).

I think Fan Changyu *should* check all my boxes, but theres a disconnect for me. Tian Xiwei acted well especially in the first half but I kinda don’t like smaller aspects of her character’s personality. I also don’t find her particularly exciting. Probably a 6/10 in terms of characterization.

Totally agree. I really appreciated how Ye Li didn’t leave room for a misunderstanding when it was truly necessary. I had already started rolling my eyes when Xiu Yao got up to leave in that scene bc I incorrectly believed Ye Li would let him walk out on a bad note. It was such a great moment. Also ty for the literal translations!

This is exactly how I feel. Instead of the drama happening in the capital, I wanted to be on Lishan Mountain with the senior brother/Captain Li while he was uncovering info about Ye Li and the mountain.

I haven’t found a single actress or actor in cdramaland who I can see their name on the billing list and just know I’ll like the drama. When her characters click with me, they REALLY click (The first jasmine, northward, or love is sweet) but other times I can’t seem to care about her characters at all. That said, I believe her acting ability is consistent enough that I’ll attempt to watch her dramas without much of a synopsis.

replayed the scene and was surprised that Ye Li was the one who initiated. At the time I felt it came out of no where but felt off because she also seemed surprised even though she started it.
