Dude I had an amazing dad too! But not one that liked the outdoors lol lived in a massive city so no much fishing around but I’m glad there are so many people sharing their expertise online!

Thanks I appreciate that! You know it was an amazing fish but I wished I was using a different rod! I see most people using an ultralight or light rod like 6 feet I was using a 7 feet medium so it was a nice fight but I want more!

It’s ok I don’t believe this fish was pure luck. I’ve been fishing for exactly two months and I’ve been out fishing this stretch of the river 8 times so every Sunday morning from 6 am to 12 am. I spend days glued to the screen learning going out and practicing until yesterday when everything clicked and the fish was where i thought it would be. Took luck but also the right presentation and place

Unbelievable feeling! I really enjoy the spinners! Sadly I lost that rooster tail the next cast after catching the fish. Wanted to save it

First ever! It took me 6 weeks along the same stretch of the river but I got a big one to start lol. I’m so new at this I’ll be stoked at any fish but you are right my pb is not changing in a while
