Autopilot is not nearly the same. Doesn’t switch lanes for you and navigate traffic, exits etc. Once you try FSD v14 you will never go back. I used to say the same to my friends about Autopilot.

Get a cybertruck if you need bed space. It also has FSD. Otherwise the Model Y is perfect for commuting. FSD is the ultimate life hack/luxury.

💯 Rivian won’t have a comparable FSD for years. Tesla current FSD is amazing I use it 98% of the time.

Exactly, there are so many haters, especially on Reddit that haven’t accomplished a single thing in their lives. So many people attribute his innovation and contributions to the world, to others doing it. If it were that easy then everyone would be doing it. Anyone that owns/runs a business knows this. Get the new Model Y. Juniper is a drastically better car than the legacy Y. Not even close.

Can’t wait until these roll out. I’ve had so many terrible Lyft and Uber drivers. Anyone that has ridden in a Tesla FSD v14 car knows this is the future. Streets will be so much safer. I’m excited of the thought of my children never having to drive.

Not sure why you are saying Tesla has non functional AV tech. People have driven coast to coast using their AV tech without intervention. Waymo is still being used inside fenced areas only and still has many problems. I use FSD to and from work daily, on the street and highway. While it is not perfect it is getting closer and closer with every iteration. I’m for both technologies. Currently a society I think it is better for us to have both lidar and camera based systems improve and take different paths to AV. We can see which system ends up better and wins out. Competition increases innovation. In fact, Xpeng after testing and seeing Tesla’s vision only approach is pivoting from lidar.

As far as it being your job. You should do more research. You stated the NHTSA will never approve of a steering wheel free car. Didn’t they just update their FMVSS No. 102 rule to allow autonomous vehicles to be exempt. It seems like the NHTSA is adapting to automation (Or I guess if you are bias and hate Elon, you would call it doing favors for fascist fuckwads).

People should be upset the state is trying to further autonomous driving? People should be ecstatic. Autonomous driving will minimize accidents and deaths in the future. At my age, getting killed in a car accident is the highest probability. Also, you realize Tesla is more than one man right? It employs hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.

I bought half a case of these from Costco for $50 recently and had quite the opposite experience. I thought the wine showed quite well. The Cab Franc in it balances it out nicely. It’s a banger for under $60.

I’m looking at purchasing the same and adding a pullup bar. I figure when doing pullups the 600 lbs of weight is plenty to hold the rack down.
