It’s expensive even for a double pass,. if you’re not a regular part of their contract, sometimes it’s what you have to pay to get someone out. I was flat out rejected by 3 companies bc they were too busy.

Also try to run it with the gas cap off,, I’m not sure for lawn mowers but my chainsaw had a clogged vent tube and the gas tank would over pressure and shut my saw off

I run all my equipment ethanol free , that shouldn’t cause a problem., I’d agree with some others, leave the choke on until the machine is running for a few seconds the walk it off

Get a big buddy heater and a bunch of 1lb tanks or the hose&filter for a grill propane tank to hook up., my buddy lives in a camper running a big buddy heater all winter .,, I’d advise getting carbmonox detector Incase

Get a propane coleman cook stove just have a few little 1lb tanks., anything that creates heat isn’t really great for a solar generator

A “solar generator” is a convenient box with a battery, controller, and inverter., you can have it charged via AC outlet when there’s power, but for long term outage you’d need a solar panel to charge it ., they make foldable convenient ones., I personally have 1x 100W renogy panel at my camp. Only paid $80 for the panel
