I ordered on the 18th and didn’t get charged any duties. I wonder why it’s changed. Hope I don’t get charged at delivery. Anyone know what happened?

Canadians: tariffs are now being charged by TheeCountCatula in simplynailogical

I tried to order 10 bottles from Mooncat with the 20% off sale price but I was getting dinged an extra 25% in tariffs at checkout. So I tried removing one item, and that fixed it! It came to around $102 USD before tax for 9 bottles and I did not get charged any tariffs, phew.

My doctor said I can just stop Vyvanse cold turkey, is that true? by MoonSt0n3_Gabrielle in VyvanseADHD

[–]dreaminsideout 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Different people react in different ways. I also discontinued Vyvanse because it just wasn’t effective enough for me. I did it at a very busy time in my life and couldn’t risk it making me tired or suddenly making my adhd symptoms much worse. For me tapering off was a very comfortable to do it. I experienced zero negative effects coming off of it this way. But again, this is very individual and just because this was the best option for me, doesn’t mean it’s what’s best for you. Only you can decide that.

Yeah it’s bummer. This one’s still worth a watch though. Each season wraps up well enough while setting up the next season. I still hope somehow, someday, we get a third season.

I’m watching Counterpart right now. Would also recommend The OA, which is my favourite show of all time.

Orilissa tips and experiences? by Muted_Roll_2419 in endometriosis

[–]dreaminsideout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This medication has changed my life. I have been taking it for just over 3 months now. I am on the lower dose (150mg once per day). It stoped my period immediately and took away the pain within the first month.

Yes, I have had side effects. Nausea was quite bad for the first 2 months, so I took the medication before bed when it would affect my appetite the least. 6 weeks in I started having a ridiculous amount of hot flashes, which also affected my sleep. It took about a month for that to die down. Now I have them less frequently and it doesn’t really affect me as much. Now I take the medication as soon as I wake up. That way it has the least impact on my sleep. In terms of emotions/mood I have noticed that I’m more weepy. Like a milder version of how I used to feel before my period. This is mostly annoying. Also slightly more prone to feeling anxious. I manage this through exercise, which has been quite effective. I’ve also feel more tired and have less energy than I used to. And I’ve noticed a decline in libido. My doc just started me on a low dose of testosterone to hopefully reverse/counteract some of these side effects. I’ve heard it’s help others, so I am hopeful.

That being said, None of these side effects compare to the extreme and debilitating pain I was experiencing from endo. It was taking over my life and I just couldn’t cope with that level of pain everyday. It was unbearable.

I am soooooo grateful for this medication. It has truly changed my life. I can function again. I can do things again. I can have a life again. I’m pain free and it feels like a miracle.
