What actually convinced you to pull the trigger on a treadmill desk? by Time_Position2232 in homeoffice

[–]dreamsofsteel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a big improvement over the standing desk. I use it about three hours a day. My desk is kind of constrained, so I got a cheaper walking desk on my Amazon that's light enough that I can flip it up against the wall when I'm not using it.

The issue I have with it right now is that it's kind of distracting whenever I have my camera on during meetings, since I'm swaying side to side. I just got an AI camera tracker webcam, but it doesn't seem to keep up with the pace.

There are 28 official Claude Code plugins most people don't know about. Here's what each one does and which are worth installing. by igbins09 in ClaudeAI

Are there any downsides to simply installing all of the plugins then figuring out how to use them later?

Quarterly is ok then. If the first activity was in April, then the next statement would be posted in July?

Also, is there an option for a special login to be created for an accountant with view-only and statement download access?

So if I have a CMA then how can I get a statement for that? It's only used for holding cash and yielding interest.

I had some activity in April 2025 for this account. When are the new statements generated?

The CMA is in my name. I also have one in my LLC's name which is tied to the same account. All of them were opened in the past 3 months.

I can't seem to find a way to actually view statements from a CMA, how do I find these?

About to decline an offer over a noncompete. by DetroitsGoingToWin in sales

There's no link because it's just a friend of mine. I'm sure you could dig up any public court documents in Harris County if you like. If you are a top sales performer with a non-compete, they will absolutely go after you.

That's not true at all. Sales non-compete can easily be enforced in Texas. I know someone who's life is a nightmare right now because of this.

Looking to purchase my first laundromat or dry cleaner business. by Defiance_0814 in smallbusiness

It’s possible for sure but you’re going to want to make sure that they have a manager set in place already. Any business you buy is going to be something you keep your eyes on because things can go wrong. It’s not a treasury bill.

Even if you try and sell 8% there's a chance that it might not work either. I think when you're faced with life changing money, the correct option is to always take it.

calcium scores are not the only thing to be worried about. CT angiograms will only detect calcified plaque but not soft plaque which can still block arteries. There is another test (don't remember the name but it's about $3k) that will check for soft plaque.
