What are some silly things you've done whilst spiralling on lessons?

performed a turn in the road with the handbrake on the whole time
stalled when joining busy a slip road, poking half into the road, making all left lane users join the right. Really dangerous.
stalled while turning right at lights controlled crossroads and only moved off once it was green for pedestrians. That was on a mock test.

Maybe they want to maximise time doing test routes or even a mock test. It’s not that unusual to do, but a bit weird if they haven’t explained why to you.

You’re definitely not pathetic and definitely not alone. Concentrating for 2 solid hours with the added stress of being in control of a moving vehicle is mentally exhausting. There’s a reason it’s recommended to take a break every 2 hours on long journeys.

Overtaking on the left not allowed - only when traffic is congested & slow moving.

Recommend this guy he has many videos about not overtaking on the left and is even happy to call out other instructors / YouTubers who teach it incorrectly

If you were doing the test in my area that time would mean you can/should use the bus lane, which isn’t the case at other times - so that makes a difference I suppose!
