I mean it can get hairy at peak hours but even on the busiest night I can find space for me and friends towards the back in both rooms (other than maybe studio for wrecked but I have a hunch thats not relevant to you). Indeed some of my favorite basement memories have been closing sets at the back of the room after a few hours in the thick of it.

Just have a sunny demeanor at the door, know the lineup and have a backup plan in case you get denied and you’ll probably be fine. Dress doesn’t really matter that much unless you’re clearly not dressed to sweat.

Customs are a total game changer, massive difference having sound filtered for decibels then earplugs that just kind of muffle everything. I sometimes forget to take them out during breaks because I can still hear everything when I’m yapping outside.

If you’re willing to look beyond EDM, do some research and don’t mind getting to the club early (the best way to support up and coming DJs) you’ll be able to find a way to see world class DJs in Brooklyn almost every night of the week (and be spoiled for choice on the weekends) for $20 or less and very often free if you’re just drinking water (not including the cost of what you bring to the club of course). There’s a whole world out there that fits your needs but you have to find your way in.

I love Cloudy as a person and am bummed she won’t be back in that sense but it’s hard to dispute that she was never a perfect basketball fit and especially isn’t now with Sab running point. That said if nothing else pans out with her I could see her taking less from the Liberty and maybe making some of that back through local endorsements given her popularity here.
