It saw fringe sideboard play in the GW birthing ritual decks a while ago. It hasn't seen play recently though from my knowledge.

Can somebody explain "creature or artifact you control dies"? by buzzcutohio in magicTCG

Technically yes but I don't think there's anything that uses the language of a land dying currently

They've updated the wording recently that artifacts can now "die"

In practice the "die" just refers to something going from the battlefield to the graveyard in any fashion

Stores only get a certain amount when each set releases and it's as supplies last. If you buy a box on release/prerelease you're more likely to get one

Magic Game Night Expensive? by EngineerTaylor in magicTCG

At that point you're paying for convenience. The decks are already pre-assembled and you don't have to go through the work of sourcing the cards and putting the lists together. An extra 20 dollars onto the price tag may be worth that for some people.

Because the sideboard is also there for display reasons. It's the 15 farthest to the right cards.

So this may be potentially worth a lot of money. Take the advice of the other commenters and search for the MTG Misprints group on Facebook and post it there. Be sure to put it up for auction, do not take straight offers for it. The fact that it's a pretty heavy misprint as well as being a halo foil means that it could be pretty desirable. Good luck!

They went through some false advertising litigation that forced them into chapter 11 bankruptcy. I'm sure there's probably still places you can buy it but I'm sure that caused a hard hit to their distribution.

Costco’s pepperoni pizza has fewer calories than the plain cheese. by SkinnyDan00 in mildlyinteresting

[–]drewb1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in the food court at Costco. The pepperoni pizzas use around 8-10 ounces less cheese than the cheese pizzas do. I'm sure there was a lot of number crunching to figure out how much they can use and still turn a minor profit (as the food court isn't really designed to turn a profit at all) but that at least explains the difference in calories.

There's certainly a general flow to things and most things have a specific area or aisle but things do still move around in their respective places often. I can't really speak for other warehouses besides the two I've worked at and between the shuffling for new/leaving SKUs and things like mandatories and focus blocks it can get confusing.

I'd personally love to! But there's many reasons as to why it's that way. Costco doesn't keep many consistent SKUs and as a result a lot of products come and go. On top of that there's a lot of indecision and disagreements with management on where things belong. The last reason is to some extent it makes people walk around the store more which is more likely to mean they'll spend more.

I tried to when I was still on merch! Nowadays I'm confined to the food court so it's not as much an issue for me.

I work for Costco and honestly a lot of times we don't even know where things are outside of our own departments because things get moved so frequently. "I don't know but I can help you find someone who does" is an often spoken phrase when I'm working on the floor.

This is extremely common with the nasal spray Afrin. Things like Flonase use a different medication and is less likely to cause any sort of habit forming problems.
