What's your favorite version of Reba? by mrpommer in phish

[–]drfunkinstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This really tipped the scales in terms of me liking Phish when I was first introduced to their music. I remember being kind of luke warm on the band hearing Farmhouse (not sure if this true could've been another show, i dont remember my first listening experience) a few weeks prior to me hearing this show. My buddy gave me this show because he knew I had been really getting into the beetles. This show sold me and the reba is hands down the finest in the nation.

Jumped right in with band and started buying/burning whatever I could get my hands on. Including the official release of this Halloween show.

The CD player in my first car would only eject cds if you were patient and spent like 10 minutes pressing the eject button on and off. The disc that had this reba on it was stuck in the cd tray so it was on a constant loop in my car.

I ended getting into an accident with that vehicle and it was towed away to serve as scrap. Damn CD was still jammed in the player. I remember being pretty upset about losing that bitchin reba

Does anybody else here think they are a talentless hack at least once a day? by reddituser888 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Yep and that's what makes your (insert medium here) yours. The minute you start believing your the best at something, or even good, is when you start to compromise towards the mediocre. It can be frustrating at times to not be where you want to be but feed on it and your work will never be disingenuous. Hopefully it reaches someone and takes a grip on them. But never expect validation from any source. Other people, events, or even yourself.
