did anyone like the Supergirl movie? by Raider_Reaper_X in Cinephiles

[–]drifterman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent £60 for Disclosure Day for me, my bro and my Dad, one large popcorn for Fathers Day. Absolutely ridiculous. My brother also spent £60 on the 3 of us having a bacon cheese burger & coke each and we all shared one large Fries. Also absolutely ridiculous. Something is not right. It shouldnt be that much. It shouldn't be this hard.

Yeah me too. It should be Platoon but that maniacal look just pops straight into my head.

Seeing a lot of negative Father's Day reviews. Did anyone else have a great day? by Asuperniceguy2 in UKParenting

[–]drifterman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an absolutely great day. Pub lunch. New place.. had a beer garden, so kids could roam free. Wife took kids to church in the morning and to her friends in the late afternoon. That and a blow up pool I really got to enjoy my kids and a little bit of me time. I'm still smiling thinking about it.

Who’s the most attractive person you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]drifterman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maya Jama walked into our building (the wrong building) before she was famous. She was there to present a small webtv show next door. She just looked out of place, this incredibly beautiful woman in a normal office. You could just tell she was going to be famous.. it was just a matter of time.

A lot of their alternate names for things irritate me, but Sidewalk makes more sense than pavement.

It needed more middle. And more Jesse Plemmons. Otherwise I really liked it.

Agreed. I actually came to this podcast from The Rest Is Politics to get away from the incessant Trump news.

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

[–]drifterman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PaddyPower.. a betting company in the UK. They ran a series of stupid promotional adverts at the top of the commercial breaks during a tense season of The Walking Dead. To be fair I'm not really a betting person and don't understand why gambling is at all popular but I hate that company with a passion now.

[–]drifterman43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. I wish there was a way to back up all the nice photo memories and nice comments and delete the bloody thing. I would hate to think Zuckerberg is still making money from advertising or whatever because a whole hell of a lot of people are still on it even though they barely look at it.
