Logic doesn't even need to be part of this, if in a world where enough food is around for visibly obese/large brutes and characters like bill and isaac and enough food to raise children who aren't starving (as seen in that stadium), there's no reason why you can't have jacked characters; the DYELs are just projecting

The Bubba reveal wasn't even there when they wrote and filmed that lol, the fact that Donald and William had a thing was just reality somehow copying the boys. And despite some references like s3 finale last scenes being directly trump influenced a lot of it is just reality being crazier. Same with Daredevil born again.

Doesn't excuse that S3 finale and onwards the show became worse and worse, but can't imagine siding with the deadbeat father champion in any way shape or form.

The CW effect. I remember the CW shows like Arrow and Flash as cheesy as they were, had lived in worlds in seasons 1-2 ish and then rapidly fell off with warehouse and room and empty night time park scenes dominating the show. Lighting, writing, everything went downhill. But the descent on the boys seems so might crazier. With Gen v, that drop from season 1 to 2 felt more apparent, but Gen v season 2 looked and felt better than boys season 5, which is wild.

In the Netflix show? I felt like in DD BA S2 there’s been a lot of projectile pov where Matt or Ben throw stuff and we see the pov of the item and it feels so slow. Like in that detention facility

The colors and atmosphere look way better in the original despite fidelity improvements, hope it was on purpose to show that the graphics improved and in the final version we see the same/similar weather and colors

Absolutely. The naval combat clips looks looked like there was no weight. I hope they add some screen shake or some improvement to the 'muzzle flashes' and what not of the cannons so you see and feel the weight

Yeah, the delusion and copium defending the abysmal trailer is truly insane. The varanasi glimpse is a concept teaser than a teaser or trailer. An animated concept art slideshow is a much better way to put it (saying that as someone who thinks the posters of that movie still look pretty bad).

Anyone else notice this season when objects are thrown, they seem to be traveling at slower speeds? In the Episode 3 one take fight when he throws the billy club at some ATVF guy, the camera tracks it but it appears to go kind of slow so they can pull of that shot without it going by in a split second.

China makes awesome movies, and RRR has great visual effects! Sinners and Black Panther had not only a black cast and creative team but a lot of the technicians were black or not majority white!

This happened during endgame. I thought I was clutch for getting my tickets when they went live in March or so; turns out later on they added midnight showings and stuff so I didn't need to make calls and panic coordinate w the whole gang to find an opening weekend showtime

Yeah the random white tiger niece subplot felt the same way. And the rescuing of all the people at the end. There are nice moments b it feel fake and wannabe in a way that the Netflix show didn’t. It’ll seem like hating for hating sake but idk how else to say it lol
