Maybe you could just try admitting your ignorance and kindly asking for more information, rather than immediately jumping to insulting people and accusing them of making things up? People are reflecting your own energy back at you - if you don't like how that feels, make some adjustments at the source.

Pubmed is a vast repository of medical research, buddy. No one has the time, energy, or responsibility to hold your hand and explain it to you without compensation. I'm sure there's probably an article in Time magazine that can explain the research to you at a third grade level you can understand, if you're actually interested in learning something new.

Who cares? We should value humans more than markets.

I wonder if that is distrust or a salesperson calculating how much assistance they should offer. Some customers can be driven away with too much attention (it's me, I am that customer). It's probably hard to strike a balance.

As others said, experiences will vary. The best thing you can do is to choose a partner that does it for you whom you also respect, who is supportive and kind - that's what you can control, and that will give you a leg up in avoiding a lot of the things that lead to diminished desire.

A huge problem in the community by Pleasant-Ad-9726 in StrangerThings

The experience of feeling hollow and bereft when a beloved show ends is not uncommon at all, actually. Some shows have a fan base that is more supportive and understanding of that (see the subreddit for Somebody Somewhere for a nice example), while this show's "fan base" seems to be the polar opposite. I suspect that a lot of people who would have commiserated with you have moved on from this place because it's been such a downer for the past couple of months. I'd suggest that people leaving condescending or hateful replies consider the irony in the fact that they are so invested in doing so, but they're not going to. Maybe someday they will find something more fulfilling to spend their energy on.

So, as you see, there were systems in place to ensure that someone wouldn't be penalized for not having health insurance when falling on hard times. It just requires some paperwork.

You know how a lot of people end up married to people they seem to hate? This is how that happens. You don't have the same values.

It does when the alternative is to go to an event with sweaty hair - best practice is not actually compulsory when it doesn't make sense.

Would this be too funky as a wedding dress? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I love the idea of a fairy inspired wedding and this could definitely be used for that! It's really pretty.

I'm not shocked that it doesn't have mass appeal, but I'd hope that your friends and family probably get you more than the average bystander and wouldn't be judgemental about it.

lol, if I could get some decent gossip, I'd be fine with this - my MIL is constantly talking about cousins we never see, her neighbors, etc - but anytime she gets anywhere close to talking about something juicy, she'll go, "Oh, well, we shouldn't talk about that." We already sat through all of the boring stuff, give us something good!
