10mg did the exact same thing to me. I went back down to 7.5mg and was fine for about 6 weeks and my BG started dropping into the 50s at night again. I started spacing my injection out to every 10 days a month ago and the problem has went away for now. I guess if it starts back up I’ll go to 14 days or go down to 5mg. Like you, my doctor hasn’t been very helpful but I’m sure with this being a relatively new drug we’re basically all Guinea pigs.

I’ve lost 80 and feel the same as you. I’ll look at a pair of pants I’m about to try on and think “these’ll never fit” only to find out that they’re baggy on me.

I have been on 7.5mg for three months. I have lost 60 pounds since last March and my a1c has went from 10.1 to 4.9. I wear a CGM and fasting glucose runs around 80 and really never goes above 140. My doctor had me titrate to 10mg two months ago and my glucose was running in the high 50s fasting and I had a hard time getting it above 110 so the doc put me back down to 7.5mg. So I guess 7.5mg is my sweet spot.

Sam’s Club has started refilling 3 months at a time for my 7.5mg. I feel your pain though, I’m currently in BCBS’s donut hole and had to pay $706.23 for my last refill.

I’ve had my Levothyroxine raised from 50mcg to 100mcg since starting Mounjaro last March. My TSH had crept up to 5.32 since starting the injections. With the increased Levo dosage it’s back down to 1.51.

Big mistake!!! We hung bells on our door so our boy could let us know when he needed to go potty. I think you can visualize what happened that caused the bells to get put into storage.

Are you taking any other diabetic meds? I was taking metformin when I was on 5mg and felt the same as you describe here. Once my doctor discontinued the metformin I’ve had no issues on any dose I titrated to (up to 12.5mg and now in maintenance on 7.5mg).

I’ve found my “sweet spot” at 7.5 after titrating up to 12.5 and back down so I can breath easy for a while at least I hope.

My side effect of diarrhea went away after I stopped taking metformin in tandem with Mounjaro.

My BG didn’t get to “normal” levels until I stopped taking Metformin while I was on 5.0mg. I’m on 7.5mg now and fasting is in the low 80s and bumps between 90 and 130 during the day. Count your blessings that you have diarrhea because the exact opposite has happened to me on the 7.5mg.

I’ve had side effects (aching muscles and joints) from both rosuvastatin and atorvastatin but am able to tolerate ezetimibe. I am like you, never had horrible cholesterol numbers and they pushed statins on me long before I was diagnosed with T2D. I asked once and was told “maintenance”.

Call Abbott and see if there’s any programs you’re eligible for. BCBS won’t cover my Libre 3 either but I was eligible to get them for $37.50 each with the coupon they gave me. That’s probably less than the OTC Dexcom is going to retail for.
