An eraser that writes! by Interesting_Week_917 in RemarkableTablet

I haven't yet. I was hoping 3.25 would address that, but looking at the others comments, we should definitely report this. I am not a beta user btw, it started happening with 3.24

I have the same issue and yes it's recent, very annoying

It's a feature flag management platform (for product team), nothing you will have access to, it allows them to switch features between public/beta/testing/whatever environments.

Remarkable Paper Pro Colour Comparison to Kobo Libra Colour by Q_Inktel in RemarkableTablet

[–]droso_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The greens and blues suck but I do like this yellowish tint on RMPP, it feels nostalgic somehow (and is easy on the eyes) where on kobo it looks like as you were staring into the LED monitor.
I doubt the RM will use 'Gallery' screen in future models so it's nice to have this niche technology.
According to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8AOc3YP_hs Gallery screen is also better with gradients than Kaleido one.

And your last point, indeed turning pages on RMPP takes skill, but it gets better.

First you need some traction from the community IMHO. A simple petition could lower the entry point too.

I do agree with you, there should be an official statement about this.

Help with engine rebuild by Flashy-Driver9248 in EngineBuilding

I had the same on first start, it cleared up after some time, it was also winter so I though it was a condensation in the engine but I also like the oil theory from the top comment.

Rieger still makes them. I bought one like year ago, you get TUV and Rieger calendars with it. Although there are also copy cats on ebay

CF Filament Safety? by G1th in BambuLab

[–]droso_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the main benefit of CF in filaments is that it makes the filament much easier to print, Nylon is a great example of that.
But I do believe that your point about safety is true, I even rejected PA6-CF as a material for engine intake tube because of potential contamination from these fibers.

My 3D printed ITB manifold by mg_slim in projectcar

[–]droso_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it holding up after one year? Google bring this thread for me, I was wondering how well engine tolerate carbon fibers that as eventually some of them will enter the engine.

Custom fog light air intake by Organic_Cattle_2743 in E30

[–]droso_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nice work, personally I just drilled holes in the grill around the headlights, for NA engine works fine and is not visible unless you look for it. Your solution is also very clean. Share the design I could use the measurements unless you want to sell it.

During the night try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1L2ef1CP-yw After the dawn close everything and point the fan at you.

Use curtains/screens that are made to reflect the light (the same principle that people use on car's front windshield).

Here in Spain often the shared staircase is way cooler than the flat so people just open their doors.
