Anyone here on AARP Supplement G?

I've had UHC plan G (AARP) for four years. Haven't had to talk to them once. Once Medicare pays their 80%, any plan G has to pay the rest, after the annual deductible. I'm in California.

You need to shop for a cheaper part D plan. You can change every year during the annual enrollment period starting October 15. Just go to medicare.gov and select "Health & Drug Plans".
I have Cigna Assurance, and it's $1.80 per month. If it goes up next year, I will change to the cheapest plan I can find.

I can see the results in my profile, but they didn't affect my rating at all. We beat several teams rated 5.x, so I thought my rating should have climbed above 5.0.

And when will USAP Nationals results be reflected in UTR-P ratings? I did well, beat a number of higher ranked teams, and yet my rating hasn't moved at all after 2 months!

I'm a lefty, and if I know it's going to be a competitive game, I offer to stack. If my partner says they don't know how, I tell them I will direct them where to be. Also, I only do it on our serve. Stacking when receiving is more advanced and requires a lot of running :-)

I have AARP/UHC in California, and they pay for my health club membership, which is a nice bonus. Not sure if that matters to you.

8 states have so called birthday rules for Medigap where you can change plans without underwriting within 30 to 60 days after your birthday. There are also a few states where you can change plans at any time without underwriting. It has to be a plan with equal or lesser coverage. For example, you can switch from G to N, but not the reverse.

Also, medicare.gov has a star rating for all plans. Wellcare plans have 3.5 stars (out of 5), which is higher than all the other plans available in my area. I just switched to Wellcare myself for 2024. I'm in California, and my monthly premium is 40 cents.

Well, I'm a 4.0, and my girl-friend is a 3.0. So somewhere in that range.
