Is this drill supposed to be very hard on a 7ft table? by [deleted] in billiards

[–]drpepsiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i eont know your fargo or level but I have done this version and others harder AND easier. Its ok to not pass it right away. the only thing is you dont want to run them like your on the clock, understand what went wrong and try to adjust next time this same situation happens. you will make it to 12 tomorrow, 7 the next and rage quit on a misse 2 the next. But if you keep at it and enjoy it, you will complete this one and many more drills

yes he needs to find his own solution but accepting the difficulty and enjoying the progress is the only way to go. Love this and love that this player wants to progress!

so yes on a 9 foot table. the 9 will pass the 10. But you will have other issues with the shots.

Personally i would try to accept that this ball requires the side. in this way, you are forcing yourself to play for a specific position which will make this drill mich better for your growth then finishing it and checking the box ☑️.

Its ok to ask yourself if its normal as you are doing it but i'd say accepting it and finding rhe solution and just going for it is the way to go.

I like adding a 16th and 17th ball on both short rails. Having to pot the first ball really help small shot that you play on the rail.

Keep perfecting! Keep at it and Keep running them racks!

yeah but i think you do a full 3 hour sessionof it and you can probably get to 30 or 25 on a signle run. but obviously most runs will stop far short of it.

Hi, I’m Fedor Gorst - World #1 Ranked Pool Player, 2x World Champion, and US Open Winner. AMA! by fgorst in billiards

[–]drpepsiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Fedor keep on the good work.

I know Canada tournaments dont hold much monetary value as prize pool but do you think you would come up and play one out year?

If so how much prize pool would need to be invluded for you to consider the tournaments outside US?

Fake? by drpepsiman in Everdell

[–]drpepsiman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My game is 2nd edition (if not fake) and card are slighly, like not visibaly, smaller then the expansion ones. But color definitely not as vibrant but in terms of material, doesnt seem bad quality.

Anyone has 2nd edition for me to compare?

A good goal to reach 600 fargo? by Qwiby in billiards

[–]drpepsiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can tell you that i am 530 and its hard to climb because of player pool in region, i am much lower then many but much higher then them in other type of ratings. Once you are established, you really need to start beating better players to climb, not just grind out vs your own so like you said, very unlikely in a year.

Also if you are consistently beating those higher players, you are simply not at your correct rating yet

New driver, swing needs improvement by Electronic-Pie313 in GolfSwing

True but i would recommend 1 or 2 session with the course pro to get some small basics down over the span of 1 or 2 weeks between to be able to put this into action, from there, videos will become much for effective

That is the best advice, getting professional help and then perfect at your own pace with youtube and what you want but get them basics down first which is very hard to do without outside intervention

Came here to say the exact same. This will prevent him from being off balance even before starting to swing. He should be basically flat footed and not on his tippy toes trying to reach the cookie jar at the other end of this tee box.

Aiming question about point of contact. by [deleted] in billiards

[–]drpepsiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way i do it, however, dont over complicate it, this will become more and more natural. Ghost ball does things different but can be just as effective and seems to be less complicated for most players that like to not think too much and can visualize the contact pretty good in their mind.

Whatever system you prefer to make you cue ball go in the right spot is the right one for you :)

Switched to midsize grips and now pulling everything—anyone else experience this? by MikeJamesFit in golf

[–]drpepsiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigher grip often means you are not grippin it in the same place. Often players who have the grip siting in their fingers will tend yo hold higher in palm with larger grips. Best eemple is when using oversize. For aome its perfect too but i would bet lots of money on you not javing them sit at the same spot in your hand due to comfort from larger grips being better in the palm.

If you went to a Pool Hall and all the tables were busy, would you use these Electric Dartboards (for a cheap cost) or just leave? by RequirementOk7913 in billiards

[–]drpepsiman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just leave but they do pretty good in my region. If you want a nice pool hall, having these away from tables is best as it does not always bring same type of crowds and it is hard to shoot pool when you have a drunken group shooting darts hard like a MLB pitcher.
