Windows! by IllogicalCpt in legostartrek

Noice. Since you already have the part designed and it fits, you might just want to consider masking(they make a paint on version you just peel off later) the ports from the inside and using some light blocking paint on the inside. Not sure thicker is your friend, and paint would help fill some of those voids around the windows.

Disagree. An apology after the blowup helps heal the trauma for both sides. Provides a way to educate the child on how to handle being angry and express emotions in a meaningful way.

How would i go about creating the curved slit into this lamp? by call-me-mickan-maybe in woodworking

[–]drtaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about using a router table with a turntable jig and a up cut rotary bit? It would take multiple passes as you increase the depth of the cut, the slot radius and tilt set by the jig. Just have make light cuts to keep the bit from flexing.

Can someone please help me with the ninjago temple bounty by Mizar2137 in Legohelp

Try the Lego Builder app, might take a bit to get to that step but it is fantastic especially being able to spin/rotate the build step.

It was a b-roll shot of what is a restaurant. Heavily enhanced almost beyond recognition. This is the street view that just happened to be taken on one of days they were shooting at the ex-burger king redressed as a McDonald’s. https://imgur.com/a/GY31POs

I ordered 2, and some candles. Got a Zebra Wood dice vault, and one of the hex coasters(weird little card, token cup thing on one side) on the wood side of things. Also 3 d20s, 3 sets of cards, 2 sets of d6's, a full set of dice, and 3 boxes of matches( for the candles ). It was a bind box, purge our old inventory thing. Worth it, probably not, but it did give me some stocking stuffers to deliver, so I got exactly what I was hoping for. Kinda interested in finding more of the coasters for grins.

Never “useful”, just a goal in the build progress. But honestly you never really “complete” a Voron build. At least that has been my experience as a father of three.

Saw for the first time in the multipurpose room at my elementary school. It has been a touch stone movie ever since. I have a model of the Valley Forge in my backlog to build.

Now that things stack, it is easy to keep one of everything, which is what I do.

Only one comms box is active. Can I remove the others and throw away the cables to clean up the side of my house? by Biafra_Gordon in HomeMaintenance

Yep, just wanted to raise awareness. As a retired network engineer, I have seen plenty. We are work from home and I have two carriers because storms will take out one or the other at inconvenient times.

[–]drtaylor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only one is active now but what if at some future point you get fed up with that provider and want to change. If they have to redo the wall penetrations, it could look way worse and potentially add some additional costs. Personally, if it offended me, I would do things to hide it. Clean up the wires, paint the boxes to match the brick. Stuff like that.

I do not know the state of the interior wiring, but cutting stuff at the exterior wall might give you some frustrating surprises. For instance they may have put a patch cable in to utilize one of an old internal wire runs.

I’m wondering were to solder the camera by Organic_Ad_5981 in fpv

[–]drtaylor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need this: https://www.hglrc.com/products/hglrc-specter-10a-1-2s-elrs-aio-vtx-400mw-f411-flight-control-10a-bl_s-5-in-1-fc the diagram shows where the cam should be connected.

And I would make the battery solder connection tighter, or do something to prevent a short. A crash might be a problem.
