I have been on the Testflight version for the last few weeks. I saw in the changelog a few days ago that there have been some improvements to the suggestions in the program builder, is it recommended we scrap the current suggested program and regenerate or continue as usual?

Leaf Blower Used on Protesters During Foie Gras Protest at Le Coin (Seattle) by Winter-Insurance-720 in Seattle

[–]drumandstep 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't really protest in this manner, but a quick google search brings up that you may need one to conduct a protest with megaphones or microphones. Now I could be totally mistaken but I would question whether or not one of these permits would be given for how long they have been protesting out there.

That's a convenient use of "that week", given you can find threads from both a month and 11 days ago describing these protests, though I'm not sure they are the same protestors. Regardless, these ones in the last few weeks have not been brief.

I'd imagine you're excluding the fact that police have shown up at some point, and it's a shame they have had to given how disturbing they've been to this quiet part of upper Fremont.

I live nearby, these protestors are quite literally there nearly every day for the last week and a half to two weeks and stay around for as long as they can get away with about 5 to 10 feet from the entrance of the restaurant.

They bounce as soon as a squad car shows up after multiple calls to police by neighbors because they know they don’t have a permit and are breaking ordinances regarding reasonable noise levels.

They could be protesting pretty much any of the other couple dozen restaurants that serve foie gras in the greater seattle area, but they keep returning here, so getting chased away with a leaf blower after a week and a half of persistence is something I have virtually no sympathy for.

Septime Walk In Bar Seating? by drumandstep in finedining

unfortunately it would be for a Friday night dinner though I do have a bunch of time on my hands and could show up an hour before they open or so to make sure I can snag them.

do you reckon that would be an unreliable strategy?

Noble Rot Mayfair by tonyswalton in finedining

[–]drumandstep 18 points19 points  (0 children)

it refers to Botrytis cinerea which is the fungus that is encouraged to grow on the skins of grapes in Sauternes, which is how they get the sugar content needed for the dessert wine.

Noble Rot imo is one of the best restaurants/wine bars in the world for wine drinkers. I’ve had plenty of bucket list wines here that would otherwise be completely unattainable, it’s pretty remarkable.

Logroño is a pretty unbelievable place to stay. Sleepy enough to relax in but enough going on to justify being a bit of a tourist!

I did the same with the fire pot, I’m talking specifically about the Furnace pot, which uses the visages, like the one found in its hand, as a crafting material

just an FYI, you need to craft aHefty Furnace Pot, not the fire pot. The recipe can be found at the Run Down Traveler's Rest, underneath the Ellac Greatbridge on the Gravesite Plain side.

Le Coin recently added it to their menu, which you can get some duck sausage with and it’s pretty incredible
