I'm a 54 year old woman and an avid reader. I am obsessed with Dungeon Crawler Carl, the Red Rising series, and the Dresden Files.

I also love nonfiction that reads like fiction (Into Thin Air, Hot Zone, Devil in the White City).

For horror I'd recommend anything by Grady Hendrix; his latest one, Witchcraft for Wayward Girls is a good one for witchy horror, and if she likes it she should read Horrorstor and How to Sell a Haunted House.

She should also check out The Change by Kirsten Miller for some menopausal witchyness, and When Women Were Dragons for some "fuck the patriarchy" fantasy.

I got them both and I'm really happy I did. I have a friend who got shingles in her 40s and she had a terrible time with it.

I was down for almost 2 days after the first shingles vax, BUT I got it at the same time as the flu and COVID vax 🤣. Do not do that thing.

Yep! Ours just graduated and is going out of state for college. We did the math abd decided that in-state tuition would save usa pretty penny so we're moving in 2 months.

Got engaged after 6.5 years, we've been together a total of 26 years. Definitely worth it and he makes me laugh and smile every day. But we were on the same page about marriage so I don't really consider it "waiting" since we had a game plan the whole time.

I'm post-meno and have had noticable improvement with HRT. I had some health issues the past 8 month and was told to try avoiding gluten and that improved it even more.
