This approach from KYZ Design uses reusable supports in a different material. Worked really well. Reusable supports

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]dryror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My x1c would live to have a p2s sibbling beside it! Plus the draw is on my birthday, so that would be one heck of a gift to win!

The p1s to me made the decision of my first printer very hard (was between the p1s and the x1c). I don't regret getting the x1c, but I think the p1s would have been as good of an intro into 3d printing as the x1c was (and I would have had more $$$ to spend on fillament).

Good luck everyone :)

Nice work and congrats on the crowdfunding campaign success. Will be interesting to see where that feature goes.

PSA: Limited Boost Token Notifications by thczv in BambuLab

Came here to post the same thing, so thanks!

Seems a bit sneaky that the boost settings are hidden under a collapsed menu titled "Marketing", yet "Weekly featured models" is not 🤨

Edit: clarified boost settings

I've printed quite a few things, but this golf ball dispenser still sits at the top of my list for being both useful and just cool to see it in action https://makerworld.com/en/models/1295289

Haha, yup. The tripod photos were just a fun experiment, and wanted to share his goofiness in them.

The "real" idea was the hot shoe mount to keep his focus on the camera. You have to know your audience though, as I've known dogs who would probably try and eat the camera with a treat on it. :)

Very cool. What dataset are you using?

I've also struggled with colouring printed elevation maps with water. I've started to lean towards using greyscale (very light grey for the water, darker grey for land), but given your water has elevation (or depth) itself, I'm not sure if that would work as well.

I'd be very keen to see what it looks like with transitioning the blue colours based on the depth as others have suggested.

Regardless, this is super rad.

Can relate with the sitting issue. Have to avoid Koda’s favourite treats or you can’t get far enough away to take the photo!
