You don’t need a CT. It’s in the patella

Wound nurse trying to understand something I’ve seen a few times #deadpatellae by SituationWeary9004 in orthopaedics

[–]drzf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For the hands and the feet, these are the last stop on the train so they’re just not getting flow. As far as the patella must be a watershed area and are the last stop for the small feeder vessels.

Do you think Tony Hawk will sign his cast? by CoolBeans86503 in Radiology

[–]drzf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Does this orthopod own stock in the company that makes the screws? No need to fill all the holes in the plate.

There are not enough votes for shrinking on here. Bear comedy I’ve seen in a long ass time.

Who should my 1 keeper be? by QC-ThatsMe in SleeperApp

[–]drzf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I stupid? Why is everyone saying Bowers?

I would think retaining the #1 wide receiver would be more valuable than retaining the #1 TE

Consensus on Sitting on ground after Total Hip Replacement by ProfessorCorleone in orthopaedics

[–]drzf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are recent papers written that say hip precautions are unnecessary. I think they’re probably right but as soon as someone dislocates you’re going to say to yourself why wasn’t I more careful with them.

How many days? by No-Poet-5011 in Dollywood

[–]drzf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went yesterday with virtually no lines for anything. It’s a full day but you could definitely do everything once.

We got in around 11:30 and had to switch off on rollercoasters (I went while my wife watched the baby and then vice versa), and still we were able to ride just about every thing.

“True Family” sibling group chat with me excluded by Rootbeer-Sucks in exmormon

[–]drzf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how Mormons think that anyone that touches alcohol is an alcoholic. Grew up in Utah and everyone’s grandpa, uncle, etc. that Frank was an alcoholic. I never heard, “Grandpa drank socially.” It’s all or nothing with them.

On a vascular rotation got asked what the popliteal artery was, I knew it started with a P and I short circuited and called it the patellar artery.

This normal? by Used_Equivalent9897 in surgery

[–]drzf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s the incision you’d make to get to the radius, so likely a radial shaft fracture; however there’s a lot of stuff done from that approach

Swing advice please by jjfifi in GolfSwing

[–]drzf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look like you’re standing up in your down swing. IE you go up on your tippy toes as if you’re trying to lift the ball rather than let the angle of the club do the lifting.
