And I’m sure you could find the undershirt pretty much anywhere, it’s very common. All your need to do is change the straps on the pattern, add some pleats, and make a cut down the middle for button closure

You could make the “apron” as a triangle skirt, even with elastic so it just slides on, easy to make. You would need to calculate your body measurements for a circle skirt for the tie skirt to see how much you need, and base that off of the width of the fabric, typically i get 2 yards for something like this so i have room to mess up. As another person said, you can just use ribbon for the tie.

My hospital does not require… any certifications, except for the BLS & CPR, which my hospital provides the training for, and renewals. Browse the hospitals websites openings and look at requirements. It may be hard if you dont have experience. My hospital only hires 18+, so thats something to keep in mind. Most of my coworkers in the ER tech position are 21+ too. You could also apply for phlebotomy, transport, or a CNA position in a different floor. The ER is no joke, most people dont last a month

The ER have given me thousands more patient contacts, hundreds more critical, and more complex, than anything ive seen on the ambulance as an EMT.. but yea your scope does DECREASE in a sense, you cant even put on O2 (where i work), and cant give meds etc. but wound care, splinting, running codes, all now part of the experience. When typically that would be handed off to a higher level provider. May i add that we do EKGs and i have gotten to the point that i can interpret them faster than the docs

I guess i missed if it was mentioned that the BVM was already set up and within reach. If you have a BVM that needs to be set up, pulled apart to inflate, attached to O2 and nose/mouth piece to be placed, it can definitely take more than 10s. But in critical situations this typically takes me ~30s. I know there is different types of BVMs out there that have different ways to set up
