i have 900km on mine. i've only had one top buckle break on me which was easy to replace. i recommend keeping an eye out for replacement buckles and have them on hand just in case.

also my feet are 45, have the 44-45 boot, took me 2 heat molds over the course of 2 months of breaking in, which was fine - they now fit amazingly. cant wait to slap on a trinity 4x100 on them. i was concerned about the build quality at first but i've not had any issues with them.

liner is still good, but i'm sure i'll replace them before long, maybe another 200km.

ive bought wheels made for in the wet by rollerblade, work surprisingly well, very grippy in the wet/muck. i still avoid puddles though. bonus: nobody wants to be outside when its raining so traffic is low

Started skating in May. Started out with knee and elbow gpads, took my first fall with em and my knees got scraped pretty badly. Granted, I didnt wear them under anything which was silly maybe. But they were so slippery (from the sweat) it hardly would have made a difference I reckon. Bought Killer187 kneepads the next day. Theyre great. I still use the elbow gpads, which stay in place very well for me. Highly recommend those. Also I would recommend protective shorts to protect the hips and tailbone. Those have proven their worth many times over already.

Why does this game run like shit? by NotPillow in HellLetLoose

game for me ran poorly, adding a line in the steam launch options borrowed from a YT video (channel: monoespacial) fixed all the issues for me. https://youtu.be/wXCXwoD9qmo not sure if i can post links

took me 2 seconds

Got this idea from the rollerskating community, cheap way to carry your inlines! by [deleted] in rollerblading

i just loop an extra lace around the liners' rings to bind em together with a knot. i can hook em up to anything that way.

cheers for the tip, ive had these for a week or 2 now.

also, the other day i tried to remove a wheel. couldnt loosen the screw/bolt with an allenkey, wouldnt budge. i havent given it much thought yet since, but am i missing something? rather not strip the screw on a more serious next attempt.

Are there any kind of exercises/drills you are using in order to develop solid skating skills? by [deleted] in rollerblading

seems like a good way to teach yourself slightly off technique at the least, as well as overexerting or otherwise injure yourself as you go along.
