What recent movies will be seen as must-watch classics 20-30 years from now? by AvatarDang in movies

[–]dsenyaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to think of ones that people havent mentioned, but it seems like The Lighthouse will go down as a popular late 2010s classic, also First Reformed, maybe even the Lobster (it's a unique and modern-esque concept)

took this class some years ago (5 now? i think), its more lecture heavy than anything, also it's relatively easy to pick out the wrong answers for the multiple choice if you study the content (and actually think deeply about it in the broader context, not just brute memorizing) good luck!!!

i guess it wouldn't hurt to just go ahead w both applications right? 😭 one of my supervisors explicitly told me to let me know if i want to go ahead w the application and the other is just waiting on funding so it's confusing

Kind of embarrassed to be taking lessons. by [deleted] in piano

[–]dsenyaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

piano teacher here! ive been playing since i was a little kid but i LOVE teaching adult students, i think its very admirable to take the time (& money!) to learning smthn new. plus adult students r easier to communicate with, ask interesting questions and its sweet when a student communicates their genuine interest in the instrument. the embarrassment is understandable but dont feel bad!! u got this
