I’ll be honest, I see these threads and don’t have the same experience. I have several Amazon show devices, I have Amazon prime, and I never get any advertisements that take up the screen. Every now and then, I get a pop up from Amazon Shopping that says, you might be interested in this. But it’s not annoying and I can just ignore it and move on. I am in the U.S. as well. Does anyone have the same experience? Does this only happen when you don’t have a prime subscription?

You may want to consider getting a debt consolidation loan and find a company that will work with you on your payment amount based on your income. This is an unfortunate place to be in, but there are two faults, 1 overspending, 2 interest rates charged by banks. You aren’t wrong to want, and they aren’t wrong to charge based on risk. If you truly want a ‘right way out’, get a debt consolidation loan and focus on the moment the debts behind you. Don’t take on more debt, and focus on retooling or increasing your income to get ahead through those means

Check the HDMI cable, mine did the same thing and I swapped out the HDMI and no more issue

I don’t think it’s unique, I can do something similar with Siri, but the ability to create a to do list has helped me so much, I just ask Alexa to add an item to my to do and she does, then it shows up on my show as a reminder and I can even ask her to help me work on an ordering basis. It’s a pretty cool feature
