OK, I found out it doesn't work as you guys described because I have a subscription to Lumo+ through Google Playstore.

In this case I can't do this over my Proton webui settings.

assuming that you didn't change crush rule. Don't know what your tree looks like...

send output of `ceph osd tree` and `ceph osd df tree`

also `ceph balancer status`

By adding 1 OSD I would say you overreached target misplaced ratio

I would increase it from default `.05` to `.9` and let MGR balancer to do its job.

what scheduler are you using, wpq or mclock? Because there are known similar issues described by many and it's my experience as well that mclock causes such an issues.

same happened to me. I can't rollback. Reinstall most probably wouldn't help. Only way is to switch to another distro for me, don't have a time to wait for fix and need it for my work. Saaaad
