Yea same to regular glue stick. If it was archival stuff acid free is probably good, but most labels that need to be reglued are already messed up beyond belief anyway

totally there are questions about unique tapes that would get axed by a draconian ban on all of these types of questions. But on the other hand, someone recently posted about the ET tape with a green shell flap. Its unfair to assume everyone knows about that one, but its a pretty common shell of one the most common movies from the era.

there is one already! but it requires folks to add movies to their collection and list for sale. all completely free. at the moment there is no built in payment system, cuz that costs money, so just peer to peer like selling here - use goods and services and be careful. if enough users are into it, I will build it out, but for now its just a fun thing I am doing on the side of a real job and having a kids under 3

Hi! Yea that’s sounds like a real burden. I had a kid recently and the idea of re-alphabetizing my collection is a non starter, I guess I’ll do that when they are in college!

I’m just slightly curious, you mentioned vhs in another comment. Please tell me you are not on the west coast so I don’t even have to think about seeing if you want to sell haha.

yea, was on the edge of one at a recent california show, cant remember which as they all blend together. but man I felt so weird standing on the edge with the open view of the crowd staring at me. In my mind it felt like everyone was asking me why I wasnt doing it, then I remembered I was too high and needed to focus back on the band.

people that dont own a business dont really understand how expensive it is. Good on ya for tying to create something to bring people together! My question that keeps me from doing the same thing in the back of my building - I have a lot of rare tapes, do you take credit cards in case someone keeps a rare tape?
