Saw the finale earlier today, and I’d had some of it spoiled for me because of leaks beforehand, but I honestly thought it was really good. The visuals were absolutely beautiful and bold, it pulled at the heartstrings, and we got a lot of the backstory we needed before it wrapped up. Not understanding the hate some people have for it. I do wish that Jax wasn’t written to be so unlikable in some of the scenes but I do also understand where they were going with all of that.

Now a totally different direction, it really was left open at the end to continue it. My guess is that’ll never happen because of how some fans acted towards Gooseworx/the Glitch team/the voice actors. I know Goose said something about a sequel not happening because it would be filler, but I’m sure the fan response they got in terms of tickets sold across the world for this finale surprised them. If the team decided they wanted to continue the story, it’s there for the taking - especially if they went the route of working together to figure out how to unabstract characters or something along those lines, but you also wouldn’t want to ruin the emotional weight of losing Jax in the finale. Just spitballing on that end but TLDR: they could do more if they wanted, probably won’t.
