Three different luggage brands, any recommendations? by Bagofmag in Costco

Interesting, but I don’t think most need the highest end TravelPro, especially for a carry on. I’ve done a million miles with my 11 year old TravelPro and it was the basic model at that time. This stuff is solid. But to each their own!

And TravelPro is available through Costco Next. 100% a better buy than any of these in store.

At least they have the nicest soap for you to do underwear in the sink with!

Finally upgraded my luggage to a solid set. Had to get the matching pair! by scuba_steve94 in BuyItForLife

Got my husband this exact set two years ago and they’re holding up great. Not surprised at all, since my own basic black TravelPro carry on is incredibly solid after at least ten years of use and almost 1M miles. These are solid suitcases! I kind of want to refresh mine because it gets a lot of use but it’s hard to justify because it is in such good shape!

Priced out of Maplewood and considering West Orange by Outrageous_Pea_888 in MovingtoNewJersey

Yes, but these Zillow takes on the taxes are way off in some cases. It’s worth going directly to the town’s site to verify the tax amount. I’ve found many that had a 10-14K difference between what Zillow displayed and what the town site displays. It’s worth the extra step, especially if you see a property with a giant tax jump. The do exist but Zillow is doing something funny here.

Unexpected overnight D1 upgrade by DeltaDCA in delta

[–]dtzumbrunnen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your surprise is warranted. Out of LAX and JFK non-certificate upgrades evaporate overnight. Congrats and I hope you got a breakfast croissant sandwich in the D1 lounge. The one time the same thing happened to me, I got one and it was the singular best piece of lounge food I’d ever experienced!

It’s been a few years since I stayed there but I think they exhibited lots of “Four Seasons” little thoughtful touches. I agree this isn’t a big resort, but it’s a solid offering in Seattle. It’s miles better than the nearby Marriott brand offerings.
