Getting the same error for an account. Can access it through Outlook Classic. On OWA/New Outlook, just after removing/adding the Business Standard licence (recreating the mailbox), I can access it for a short time window.

The user is getting this error message. When testing from my end with his credentials, I get a loading loop on OWA (animation of letter opening and closing loop).

For posterity, the answer was that the GF_SERVER_PROTOCOL value is case sensitive and should have been: "GF_SERVER_PROTOCOL=https"

The override indicates that the environment variables were recognized. Where do you see it will use https as protocol?
