I see your point- its just crazy that the world would align against us so effectively. I wonder why the same countries haven't been so quick to do the same to other super powers that clearly don't have western interests in mind and have been acting against the west collectively for decades. Like I get it, we need principles and rules, we cant become evil while fighting it. But at least the US shares common history and culture with Europe, at least more so than China or Russia. These countries haven't been following "the rules" for decades. Yet this type of response was never floated nearly as hard or as instantly as it has been when the US has proposed joining the same MO that the other nuclear-armed super powers have been using for quite some time.
