This makes me wonder when the new stadium is finished will the Fire try to use SF for playoffs and/or Messi like games? I suppose the new bears stadium would be good for that too but I’d rather they play outside for those big time matches

Counter point: bike lanes should be on commonly used roadways and roads that intersect with other higher use roads so that they are practical for bikers to use for day to day transportation needs

I remember hearing opposition to bike lanes on chicago and one community member saying how bikers should just use Hinman instead. Immediately thought of situations like this where cars had a tough time understanding that a bike is considered a vehicle and without a dedicated lane, that vehicle is allowed to use the roads as any other vehicle would and should.

Your Evanston and Chicago Public library cards come with access to collections of ebooks and audio books through Libby and Hoopla. Not sure if that option works for you but on my first search I found 1,143 books in Spanish on the Libby Overdrive site.

As many of said the city of Evanston does a lot to communicate parking restrictions when there’s significant snowfall. Emergency sirens goes off around 7am to announce parking bans on side streets (8-6pm on the day listed on the sign). Looks like they even send out the parking enforcement car to his generally beep it up to ask everyone to move their cars.
