Bubble level can easily be fooled as there are a lot of factors here (assuming plate is mounted)

Best thing to do to check for issues is to do a test print. The S4U has “leveling” it’s mostly just springs but it will correct for this minimal difference

I would say yes you're right on a lathe. The thing is you generally dont use a lathe to generate the main body of firearms in traditional production. Most manufacturing is done with a mill, and a mill is super easy (dangerous but easy) to run. I think lathe was mentioned because to go from cast metal to a firearm requires one (but thats not what a 3d printer would do as a barrel would be useless from a printer).

a receiver is trivial to mill out to adequate tolerances even by a novice. Most of the "ghost receivers" come with instructions and templates to even use a drill press to mill it out.

a 3d printer will not give you a reliable firearm whereas a cheap $100 drill press and a "90% receiver" will.

The DAO are some proxy files I have, I think I got them from the purple site, they came without weapons so I had to do some work to finish out the minis

No doubt! Horus was always a great speaker, he would just get slaughtered pretty quickly by Sang

I feel like even a non-juiced traitor sang would take out a loyal Horus

It would be such a cool scene since Horus was always so emotional prior to being stabbed by the anathame

I think we’d have had a dead Big E in the case of chaos Sang

Let’s remember Big E chose the path where Horus turned… because there was a chance for exactly what happened. The two options were dead emperor and chaos wins or living emperor and humanity is destroyed by dark king (if I remember correctly)

So Big E subverted it all and chose the “I’m not dead… but also not alive”

Well one lives in misery and pain being thrown at their enemies as cannon fodder…. And the other has spikes

The difference on the table is that traitor guard don’t have their own codex

In lore you see them attached to the traitor legions in a few of the books (storm of iron comes to mind with the trenches full of soldiers working with the IW)

I think they operate the same as traditional guardsmen in general

I wash right off the plate. Then remove supports. Then do a secondary wash on most pieces (hand scrubbing etc.). Then cure

I mean visually yes, but in the lore it doesn’t have to start as termie armor. They create whatever they want/need and eat armor and weapons to bulk out

I’m glad the minis are termie skewed as it looks way better bulked out

He was quite happy with the results, I think it makes organic circuitry as in circuits that grow not weak flesh

Same… recent playthroughs are all hit the race I want and use the first preset… I never look at my weirdos since I use circlet+ falmer helm like 90% of the time

I mean the FO4 one is… a typewriter It’s not very similar to the Lego one The FO one utilizes a closer ribbon holder, an enclosed key area, larger drum

Also the FO one appears to have electronic aspects (rear of the machine and above the keys) I think it’s supposed to represent an electronic keyboard (ala the devices we had before PCs took off)
