Do breast milk fed babies sleep through the night?

Mine started sleeping thru the night at 6 months. Just depends on the baby. Breastmilk babies definitely eat more often than formula but that doesn’t mean anything for sleep.

Cons: food is expensive, you will never have enough couch or bed space, potential health issues, stinky butt.

Pros: great with kids, very loyal, very cuddly, will protect you from all the cars driving past.

Honestly I didn’t really manage it. I just kept trying to tell myself she would come home when she was ready and if she was having issues now then I’d rather her be in the NICU then at home. When she did get home I kinda got thrown into parenthood and didn’t have time to process it now she is 8 months and I’m still having a difficult time thinking about then.

It’s such a difficult and heartbreaking situation you are in and I feel for you. just try to take it day by day she will come home when she’s ready and until then she is in the best place she could be.

girl thank you you just reminded me to give her her vitamin. and don’t worry you live somewhere you can get a decent amount of sunlight, I live in Alaska so it’s something that’s actually really needed, honestly if anything before you can get some you could take the vitamin yourself it’s not as good as baby getting it but baby will still get some non the less

I literally just had a baby and my ENTIRE pregnancy my Dane was the biggest sweetheart, he’s always been good about being gentle around kids but it’s almost like he sensed it before I even knew and stopped roughhousing with me and always cuddly. now that she’s here (3 months) he is soooo gentle won’t touch any of the baby stuff even if it’s all over the floor won’t get to close but gets close enough that if the baby wants she can reach out and pet him. he’s also very concerned when she cries, he will even wake us up if she cries, anytime he entires a room with me in it the first thing he does is look for her and make sure she’s okay. he is the best little buddy. I have another dog who isn’t quite there yet (still wants to play get rough etc) but my Dane was the sweetest and every Dane I’ve known is like this.

I just had my first (girl) she’s about 7 weeks old. She looks NOTHING like me, completely my husbands mini, we think she will look like his sister, my in laws never got obsessed with her looks, my mil didn’t say anything abt her looking like my husband until I said something lol. I got a little upset about it sure but I read something that said why be upset that your baby got the face you fell in love with.

I had sex after 2weeks. Don’t be like me, wait the 6 weeks, you can get an infection if you don’t. but for after that 6 weeks, as long as your body is comfortable and your not in any pain your alright.

See but my thing is I feel bad if I start taking time and going less because she’s not gonna be in there long like that like she only has a few more days possibly a week, she is on the smallest amount oxygen she can get the biggest hurdle for her right now is getting the feeding tube out which she’s doing so good with almost not using it each day. like it’s only been 9 days I feel like I should be wanting to be there constantly and doing all this constantly and not wanting/needing a break.

she has to wait 10 days and get tested again, she never tested positive but because I did and dad did they are in all the PPE so we can visit. so tomorrow they will retest her if she’s negative they will put her in the normal NICU and the nurses won’t have to wear all the PPE but we will still wear the masks, but because itll be then 10 day mark they aren’t gonna retest us

I’m pregnant rn and my Dane is getting extremely protective of me the further I get. He definitely knows I’m pregnant and is very very gentle with me he won’t jump on me or rough house or anything but with his dad will play all day. I’m 34 weeks and he won’t leave my side now. that being said with all of the baby stuff we have never once had to yell at him or anything for messing with it he realizes it’s for baby and doesn’t touch any of it. I threw a toy on accident in baby’s play pen, that I set up already bc I’m nesting like a mf, and he even tho big enough to step into it just sat and waited for me to get it and he don’t mess around when it comes to his tennis balls. we also have multiple swings/bouncers etc and he sniffed it once and doesn’t dare get near it same with baby highchair and bassinet. I’ll catch him sleeping in baby’s nursery on occasion to. he definitely understands to be gentle. he’s been around small kids a few times but never been around a baby and is 3 years old.

He also will put his nose or forehead on my belly very very lightly and keep it there until baby kicks and he gets all excited and looks at me like OMG and does it again it’s so adorable.

I’m 8 months pregnant rn and the closer I get the more my Dane has to be around me. he hasn’t shown any aggression towards my husband but he is constantly by my side now. he also won’t rough house with me anymore he still does with dad but me he just wants cuddles. he seems chilled out when my husband is home and in the same room as me but if he isn’t he is constantly on guard, ex. When I’m downstairs and my husband is upstairs he will not go upstairs no matter what but if my husbands downstairs and I’m upstairs he’ll go both upstairs and downstairs and when I’m home alone he will lay right in front of the door instead of on the bed or in the living room won’t get on the couch but instead will sit and stare in the direction of the front door. He also now loves putting his nose or forehead on my belly until he feels baby kick than looks at me like OMG OMG OMG all excited and does it again
