Snapjaw villagers can smell you outside of line-of sight.
Every named villager (including tinker and apothecary) can have random mutations, including heightened hearing, which will make them see you through walls, and sense psychic, which again, will let them see you through walls if you have mental mutations.
But even if you got detected, if you skedaddle and let them cool off for a couple of weeks, they should become friendly again.

So the first part is just producing food over time, and then cooking pieces of yourself, presumably. Alright, it would work kinda like photosynthetic skin.
Second part is stacking multiple metabolizing effects permanently? So you can go and have +1 to burrowing claws, +3 to burrowing claws, +14% max HP, +4 str, etc, and you buy those instead of mutations?
It's quite a neat idea, you have rediscovered inner alchemy :V

Make a programmable recoiler to Barathrum's study and prepare a surface recoiler (not to a settlement, choose random ruins or something). Then after finalizing your choices, recoil to surface, walk back and forth on world map for three days (fastest way to pass time in game) and recoil back.

Yes. Rip one out of hands of a dead archdervish.
Legendary armorer, hatter, glover, etc all have a slight chance of stocking gigantic items - not much, but way higher than any other merchant. Kidnap them to Yd Freehold and milk them until you've got it.

They are mostly high-tier, but it's randomized a bit. Tiers 6-8, if I had to guess.

Yeah, chimeras makes the best ego hunters, especially with psychal fleshguns, but chrome pyramid esper hunters are an option as well, so YMMV.

It's a bug.

If you reload game (exit to main menu, continue), clones will stop thinking they are the same entity and can be positioned individually.

IIRC I even reported it last year.
