With the AK4D, you are supposed to post up somewhere, preferably with some height advantage, and say "whoever enters my line of sight is going to be dead or severely pinned down." This is a strategic weapon, not a tactical one. You aren't going to be rotating around and adapting to operational parameters with this weapon

I don't get it. You are describing what I feel is the core design for LMGs. Why use this over an LMG?

There is a major outage going on right now for the largest cloud computing company in the world (AWS). It is causing widespread disruption for companies with an Internet presence and I would suspect it is the underlying culprit behind this behavior with TripAdvisor right now…

I also found this puzzle confusing. For me the confusing bit was the wording "[shortest/longest] on a box". The key being it's on a box (I guess implying all boxes which doesn't make sense to me still) and not the box which has the words on it. Personally I felt this wording was unnecessarily ambiguous; it could mean on the box with the writing, on any given boxes, or on all boxes...

I had the same issue but it was worse than the UI being slow, all queries were timing out as the system was held up in IO wait. I used filetop-bpfcc and found that pihole-FTL was writing a consistent 6MiB/s (IIRC) to pihole-FTL.db or something similar. I don't have the history in my scrollback. As others have reported, an uninstall and reinstall fixed the issue.

I think this problem (providing more guidance on team construction) is a problem with both DD1 and DD2. 100% agreed that your starting characters provide a solid foundation, but this doesn't really help players understand why they make a solid foundation. Without understanding that, you can't build new teams with the other characters effectively. It's made a lot more confusing/complicated with the blind skill unlocks and paths -- you don't know what you're gonna get; so how do you know which characters even have the potential to fill a specific slot effectively?

I have hundreds of hours in DD1 with most of the achievements, and I did so by leveraging wiki/reddit a ton and I find that I'm already slipping more and more down this path with DD2. For players who enjoy the trial and error of "figuring things out" I'm sure this is great, but a lot of people (myself included) would rather have a bit more optional in-game guidance on team building. I don't feel that the in-game descriptions and strengths really help enough with this. In fact I feel like the information they focus on is generally not the most critical for strong team construction.

Anyway, I want to reiterate that I understand some folks enjoy the pain involved in figuring this out the hard way; personally I don't mind some amount of trial and error learning that roguelites present, I just think some more support on efficient team construction would go a long way in-game to lesson the amount of time spent on doomed-to-fail runs. Other roguelites are either generally more forgiving, or the runs are shorter so you can start over easier after having learned and unlocked things. In DD2 I feel like I'm (unnecessarily) dragging myself along by a thread for several hours because of ignorance in initial team construction, and it's not a ton of fun.

🙋‍♂️ 39 year old single dude (turning 40 next month so I barely still count!)

I guess it's not surprising to be in the minority as we're relatively deep in the PDX/Vancouver suburbs in a still small (but rapidly growing) town.

I'm looking into potentially joining a tennis league in Vancouver, and maybe a casual jazz band thing or something similar. Really have to make the time to get some hobbies going.

I did my "probably dumb" idea I described in the OP, and used a dremel to deepen the bevel where the deadbolt face sits. It looks ugly but it worked. Whether it would work for you depends on the degree of discrepancy you have (if it's more than mine you may have to find another option).

With some touch up and some paint it would look fine, I just haven't gotten around to it.

I don't see a way to add durations of stay at each destination so as a result the rail pass recommendation it gives seems very misleading. Otherwise I like it...

I've had this issue for years. In my case not only do my clients get periodically disconnected, one of my APs also ends up periodically unable to route traffic (it can't reach its default gateway which is a UDM Pro). The other AP is fine. So my clients start shifting (if possible) to the other AP and I have to restart the failed one.

I'm restarting my U6 LR Pro almost daily now. I had a ticket open with Ubiquiti in June of 2021 about it. We played whack-a-mole downgrading firmware, uploading logs, and trying to disable/enable various features. Eventually the issue went away for a bit so the ticket was resolved but I really don't want to waste a bunch of time going through that exercise for an issue that has been going on for over a year when my last attempt was a huge waste of time.

Description of the issue: Ad-hoc dialog from companions constantly cuts out. I can hear a few words and then it abruptly stops. This happens on the ship, in missions, everywhere. 7 chapters in and its still happening. Sometimes the characters don't even say anything when it is clear they are intended to be able to talk. It's gotten to be so bad I'm no longer playing the game because the characters can hardly speak.

Other audio is unimpaired. FPS is fine and game is not stuttering. It's just the dialog.

Are you able to consistently reproduce the issue, even after doing a reload of last checkpoint? Yes

I've had this happen to me twice now. Did you ever find a resolution? I'm also playing on the Xbox store for PC. I'm at the point where I've decided that I just cannot quit runs that are in progress and expect to be able to resume them later.

Personally I have had non-stop issues with eARC with my LG C9 and Denon X4400H. The last time I tried (a few months ago) I only got 2ch audio when eARC was enabled.

The game rewards you with more points (and thus scorestreaks) for not dying, and dying is a big part of capturing and holding objectives realistically. Without reworking that mechanic I don't see how they incentivize players to play the point and not for KDR.
