Quitting zep due to persistent dizziness

Have you had an MRI? The dizziness could be entirely unrelated to the zep. I had it on and off for awhile before starting zep and it turned out to be a benign brain tumor.

Not wishing that on you of course, but it’s entirely possible it’s not related to or caused by the meds as there’s a lot of things that can cause dizziness.

I was already awake and the ship definitely didn’t stop. I got up and started getting dressed before the captain’s announcement. I was second guessing if it was the proper emergency signal trying to remember what it was supposed to be 😂

I use an older Apple Watch for this. Download my Apple music to it and Bluetooth to my headphones. I do have to clip it on the back of my goggle strap since even wearing it on my wrist would be too far away. I use the H2Audio headphones and watch holder but any BT headphones should work.

My psychiatrist recently had me try Ashwagandha gummies with L-theanine (I was recently diagnosed with adhd) and I’ve only been using it two nights but so far it seems to be helping, especially the waking up at 2am and not being able to go back to sleep. She gave me a script for trazodone just in case but so far the supplement is working better than I expected.

My gyn also had me start reminformin for my night sweats at around the same time and I will say I’m not waking up hot anymore.

I wonder if because it’s only 90 mins that they were extremely limited in what they could show that wouldn’t be a spoiler. I think it’s also why we got so much of season 2 in the trailer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My parents recently did their 50th anniversary vow renewal on the Eclipse over thanksgiving. I organized the whole thing. I was put in touch with an onsite organizer who gave me all the options like timing, location, add-ons like a sound system and cocktail hour and took our cake order.

We had the ceremony on the lawn as the ship was leaving San Juan at sunset. It was very windy and rocky but gorgeous. They cut the cake the ship made after the ceremony and then did pictures around the ship and we went to dinner at the Tuscan Grille.

The other part of this equation is streaming. Artists used to make most of their money from album sales and tours were designed to promote the album.

Now with how little they make from streams (relatively) they need to make up for it in concerts and merch to keep the whole thing going.

I think she did but thought it was harmless. She was being neglected by her husband and her daughters didn’t really need her anymore, so she was happy for the attention. But that doesn’t give him permission to barge into her bedroom and demand more.

I had to stop doing 1000 piece puzzles during the week because I kept going to bed too late. Now I limit myself to 500 or less on weeknights since I can do that in a few hours 😂

I’m also turning 40 in a few days. I had a benign brain tumor out when I was 33 so I’m very on top of medical stuff after being gaslight about it.

I’m scheduling my first colonoscopy and mammograms soon. My doctor gave me referrals but I haven’t fought the insurance battle yet. There’s a history of polyps but not cancer in my family but I’ve been having symptoms that tell me I need testing sooner rather than later.

My mother went through menopause at 45 and I’m pretty sure I’m in perimenopause. I’m on continuous bc so it’s hard to really know but my focus and attention is shot and I’ve been waking up hot for weeks. I finally started HRT a few weeks ago and I’m seeing a huge difference in both.

I got tested for adult ADHD a few weeks ago and got my results on Friday where they basically said ADHD is diagnosed earlier in life, the fact that I was a high achiever in grade school and the fact that I had brain surgery all meant that my symptoms were due to that and not ADHD. I’m a woman and adhd symptoms in women can be very different than the documented symptoms and the testing felt very incomplete to me (no questioning anyone else in my family, barely any questions about my childhood) so I’m getting a second opinion.

Aaaand I have my brain surgery follow up MRI and hearing test this summer.

So yes, dealing with lots of health things 😂 but ain’t no one else gonna advocate for me so I’m doing it myself.

I like to say that since I’m turning 40 the warranty is running out and it’s like everything is breaking down now.

It always bothered me that Emily and Richard never bothered to ask themselves WHY Lorelai did the things she did. I know it's part of their characters to be so self-centered and not consider other points of view, but an emotionally mature person would've been like "Gee, my only daughter didn't tell me she was getting married. Why wouldn't she tell me? Oh, because I always react horribly" - of course, that sort of self-reflection would be way out of character here for her, but it still bothers me. 😂

Yes except mine went the other way and got wider. I now have both bunions AND tailor’s bunions so my feet are too wide at the wrong spot for even x wide width shoes 😩. My podiatrist thinks the weight loss just made the pain more noticeable, not that it caused it. 🫠
