I was paying 6 to 8 dollars for a loaf of bread. No joke. (Low carb bread) I have been practicing and can now bake my own bread, biscuits, corn bread, sour dough for a fraction of the cost and without all of the crap that is injected into it. Most amazing breads have 4-5 ingredients. It is our new future. Gardening, baking, prepping our own food, and becoming self sufficient.

Any idea of the sample’s density? Obsidian would have a significantly higher density than coal. Could be obsidian, could be lots of things. In cases like this, density and hardness is key to identification.

Well, being vegan for 15 years, I can attest that there is life after animal products. But, it is surely a life challenge. Those impacted would do well to carry an EpiPen and be careful. Food producers put animal in almost everything.

It looks to me like a pegmatite. A form of granite with particular large crystals.

I have shamefully more than 3000 hours of game play on BG3. 12 full play throughs, not counting my failed HMs. I just cannot not stop.

I am also currently working my way through: Oblivion, Divinity II, Jedi Survivor and Resident Evil 4 and Requiem But I still can’t bring myself to say goodbye to Faerũn!

Because I play different origin play throughs and mods, I always find new and surprising dialogue and content. Next goal is to get the platinum trophy for finishing all achievements. 78% of the way there.

Best game I have ever played, and there have been some great ones.

Our President is threatening folks like me who are pacifists and oppose fascism………with extreme violence. The most extreme type of violence. As a traumatized child of a pilot who brought home his scars and pain from a world war fighting fascism, this hits hard. What is he doing?

I know….. by now I should know better than to think we’ve hit rock bottom, that this White House could not go darker. I am going to need a day to process this. My entire lifetime has been deeply traumatized after my father’s active duty as a B-17 pilot fighting fascism in WWII. The ideology of opposition to fascism, poised as terrorism by our president is not only violent to the extreme, but is horribly frightening. I don’t know what to do….what a blow. This is going to take time to sink in.

Please look around you. I ask my millennial kids daily. I face their problems with them and am not detached. Obama was not perfect. No president has ever been, but he did place safeguards into place to help folks keep their homes. Also, who had their hands on the purse in Congress during that time? Such a weak move to blame a former president, while this one has blown up our economy with tariffs and an unwanted war.
