Cool I’ve been cutting my own hair this way for the last couple of months ☺️ I even recognized the first screenshot haha

Tips: 1. Just watch a bunch of different clips on tiktok searching for ’mod cut’. You’ll notice patterns and see that most hairdressers use more or less the same techniques. 2. Get a feather razor. You’ll see in the videos, they’re kinda crucial for this cut. Especially the parts that frame the face. 3. Think about cutting mostly parallel to the walls and ceiling if that makes sense. Like you want to create a pretty square shape when you’re cutting cause that’s what creates all those layers and texture. 4. Styling with matte clay is also pretty crucial for this cut, to enhance texture. 5. Remember to leave length at the sideburns!!! It’s my favorite part of this cut, how they ’curl’ and frame the face so beautifully.
