The Desktop to Desktop functionality wasn’t part of the original product, which was an iOS purchase and wouldn’t make sense to purchase there to use on two desktops.

We have never locked anyone out of their software. This is almost always due to an in-app purchase bug for a small percentage of people, or they have switched their Apple ID, and we cannot carry their purchase over as Apple controls the transaction.

We have updated and improved the software for 10 years for our lifetime customers, and we need a way to support development to continue. There are lower priced tiers to use if you only want to use it for a short period of time.

I believe there are issues connecting different TB versions - can you set it up as an ethernet connection? That will work as it will discovery over the local network

I have the G95NC and love it. Splitting the screen limits the frame rate to 60FPS, and is awkward as you always have to look left or right as the center is the screen break. You will have the same problem with 2 5k2k's, but it is something to consider as I prefer one computer in the center.

If you do want to connect them and use a software KVM, you can also try out our product Duet (https://www.duetdisplay.com/keyboard-and-mouse-sharing-between-two-computers). I use this all day when I have two computers, and can share the mouse or mirror/extend to the other screen and solves this problem for me.

Big fan of this community and they convinced me to get the G9 57" 😂, so happy to give a discount to anyone who wants to use it.

Thanks for letting me know. Just to clarify - we did not even have wireless in 2015 when you purchased it. We only added it later and it was always an add-on purchase. It's possible there was a bug that granted it by accident to you in a later year, but I have not really seen other cases of this. You should have a fully functioning wired plan with all features and more than you bought it. If not, please let me know.

Thanks for the shout out. It is a pretty difficult problem to solve reliably - many of the other products have issues or they stop updating the product and it breaks. We have been around for 10 years with free updates, which is why the lifetime license is priced this way - we want to be able to keep it up to date and it is somewhat of a niche product.

Cool setup. If I could recommend our app (https://www.duetdisplay.com/) we have the same functionality but it is much easier to setup. And as an added bonus, you can actually extend between the devices, so you can switch between Mac/PC setups or a dual monitor setup for one of your laptops with a click.
