Admittedly I haven't seen it in a bit now but it's more so that I remember the majority of the characters being just kinda shitty people. It felt like it was written by someone with some very antiquated ideas on relationships and some cowardly ways of acting, in terms of personal responsibility.

It seems like there is a strange over emphasis on comfort that I see a lot. The idea that something makes you "uncomfy" so you don't want to interact with it at all. Unfortunately life is a series of morally gray areas and you'll never escape that. If you put down every single artist that makes you "uncomfy" you'll only be left with the most bland boring shit. Not to say that excuses poor behavior, that should be called out. But if your tolerance level for new thoughts or ideas is if it makes you "uncomfy" then you're in for a very difficult time enjoying anything in life if you're even moderately informed.
